Sultan Muhammad V, telah perkenan melantik wakil Negeri Kelantan ke Jawatankuasa Khas berkaitan tuntutan royalti petroleum. Ini bererti Tuanku telah memberi restu kepada penubuhan Jawatankuasa Khas tersebut serta menzahirkan keyakinan bahawa Jawatankuasa Khas adalah jalan terbaik menyelesaikan isu yang menyelubungi tuntutan Kerajaan PAS Kelantan.

Apabila Tuanku sudah memberi perkenan maka wakil-wakil Kerajaan PAS Kelantan, terutamanya ahli-ahli Exco yang mengangkat sumpah mereka di hadapan Sultan Negeri Kelantan perlulah turut sama menzahirkan persetujuan dan sefahaman supaya segala tindak tanduk Kerajaan Negeri seiring dengan apa yang diperkenankan Tuanku.

Apakah ertinya kalau secara terbuka seorang exco dan kuncu-kuncunya bertindak membuat sesuatu yang secara langsung membelakangkan apa yang telah dizahirkan oleh Tuanku? Apakah itu derhaka namanya.

Seperti biasa tentu exco itu akan berkata dia bertindak untuk kepentingan rakyat kelantan. Habis tu bagaimana pula dengan Tuanku? Bukankah tindakan Tuanku itu sebenarnya untuk kepentingan rakyat Baginda? Siapa sebenarnya yang berjuang untuk kepentingan rakyat Kelantan?

“Kita debat untuk ilmu dan untuk menjernihkan pengetahuan rakyat Kelantan terhadap isu sebenar”, demikian kata-kata pengasas blog Kickdefella, Syed Azidi Syed Abdul Aziz semalam.

Beliau merujuk kepada berita di dalam Sinar Harian bertarikh 17 Januari 2013 yang melaporkan Pengerusi NGO R Saudara Nazri Deraman mencabar YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed dan YB Senator Dato’ Dr Awang Adek Hussin untuk berdebat isu royalti petroleum.

“Bukan taraf Nazri untuk berdebat dengan Menteri, debat dengan saya sudahlah,” kata Syed Azidi yang ditemui media di sebuah hotel di Kota Bharu selepas majlis perasmian Jentera Siber Barisan Nasional oleh Mustapa Mohamed. Bagaimanapun Syed Azidi nyatakan beliau mahu debat itu bukan bertujuan untuk ‘mengangkat ekor’ mana-mana pihak atau untuk tujuan bermegah-megah. Sebaliknya ia mesti untuk kedua-dua pihak meletakkan hujah masing-masing berdasarkan fakta supaya rakyat Kelantan boleh memahami dan membuat penilaian sebenar.
