Terengganu has undergone a rapid development transformation process with the implementation of various types of projects worth hundreds of millions of ringgit, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said the oil and gas industry, especially in Kerteh and Kemaman, was the backbone of the Terengganu economy, which not only attracted many foreign investors but also increased local employment opportunities.

Lightning strike hits Kerteh gas processing plant

Dateline 2019-07-17, Argus Media:

A lightning strike has hit a gas processing plant in Kerteh operated by Malaysia’s state-owned Petronas, causing a fire that took eight hours to bring under control

Cracker and downstream operations at Petronas’ facilities at Kerteh remain unaffected after the incident yesterday, the company said. There were no immediate reports of casualties.

Gas processing units typically treat and purify feedstock used in petrochemical complexes.

Marketing Rounds – Sundram Kerteh

Where you been? Sundram has banana leaf rice, banana leaf rice, banana.. (you get the impression he is a one-trick pony, but what a pony! Think Ferrari prancing horse). Add in the blended squash, fried chillies, rasam (oh, the rasam!), and teh tarik, for less than RM20, probably less than RM15 as well.
