Marketing Rounds – Redundancy

In oil and gas, we consider the requirement for redundancy based on risk, whether it be financial, HSE or if the requirement has been baked into the standards and directions that you are following.

The situation below leaves me confused. I can see two different ways of recording your location, but:

  • If you are taking a photo, don’t you capture both data sets at once.
  • If you are writing the location down, I presume you don’t have a camera with you?
  • If you are memorizing your location, can you memorize the scan code image?
  • If you are using Google glass, I want! Then you can write down your location.
