Komited Malaysia to distribute MIRA gas cylinders

Oil and gas company NGC Energy Sdn Bhd has appointed drug-intervention community- based organisation Komited Malaysia (formerly known as DIC Pahang) as subdistributors for MIRA Gas cooking gas cylinders, while launching its exclusive edition Getting-to-Zero Firesafe Fire Extinguisher in aid of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF).

According to NGC Energy Sdn Bhd GM Julianna Kamaruddin, as a result of its appointment, Komited Malaysia will be responsible for distribution and sales of the MIRA cooking gas cylinders in the Kuantan region, with up to RM3 from the sales of each cylinder going to the organisation.

 


NGC Energy to use M’sia as hub to access region

NGC Energy Sdn Bhd, an Omani and Malaysian joint-venture company, says it will supply up to 25% of Malaysia’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) needs on its way to becoming a major energy player in the region.

The company, which recently acquired the LPG assets of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd in the country, said it will supply up to 25,000 tonnes per month to domestic and industrial users under the Mira brand without naming a specific date.


National Gas completes acquisition in Malaysia

National Gas Company (NGC) has completed acquisition of Shell’s LPG assets in West Malaysia through an indirect subsidiary of the company.

NGC Energy has received all necessary licenses and regulatory approvals to operate the business from the relevant authorities in Malaysia and has commenced commercial operations under its own name with effect from November 8,2012.

 


Shell to sell west Malaysia LPG assets to Oman’s NGC

National Gas Company SAOG (NGC) said today that it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Shell Malaysia Trading to purchase the latter’s LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) assets in west Malaysia for an undisclosed sum.

NGC, one of the largest LPG companies in the Middle East, said that its entry into Malaysia was done in partnership with Wan Zulkifle Wan Yusoff, a senior LPG industry professional.
