If Malaysia stopped producing oil right now, would it affect oil prices?

Getting oil prices to a more stable state is something that has become a real concern in recent times. Oil supply and demand has been out of balance for some time now for a number of reasons, including some major domestic oil users switching to a heavier reliance on natural gas, and increases in oil production in some regions. A supply glut is problematic for the entire oil industry, and causes prices to become low.
