From The Star: Don: Train experts to tap Sabah’s oil and gas potential

Sabah, with a huge amount of oil and gas reserves, has great potential in becoming a major economic force within the country.

Dean of Engineering and Information Technology of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Assoc Prof Dr Rosalam Sarbatly said the development in oil and gas industries in the state had been progressing slowly due to limited expertise and trained manpower.

Therefore, he said there was a need for the university to forge ties with PETRONAS.

    Let’s face it, have anyone gone to the UTP website and look at its academician… kakk kaaakkk kaakakaaaaa

    Let’s take Chemical Engineering for example…. (kaaakakakaka)

    1. Ir. Dr. Abd Halim Shah Maulud – how is his 4 research paper help produce oil????

    2. Assoc Prof Ir Abdul Aziz Bin Omar – no published paper?

    3. Anis Suhaila Shuib, Particle-laden Flow, Blood Flow in Artery

    4. Asna Mohd Zain ON STUDY LEAVE? ADA GAJI KE? – no published paper…. how to get master ah?

    Just in this department 11 lecturer out of 41 on study leave….. akakakkakaaaaaaa, can I join and go on a study leave…. makes me wonder 25% lecturers so shit they need to go and study.

    Lagi, only 2 Ir???? Are these lecturer student members of BEM??? maybe that’s why they need a study leave.

    Should we go to Civil engineering? Only Dr Arazi has an Ir. NONE OF THE CIVIL LECTURERS CAN EVEN PRACTICE AND SIGN A DESIGN IN MALAYSIA….. lauya betul ini.

    on your list you got 626 lecturers (including pensyarah kanan) and you can’t even train some decent grads due to manpower? it means your uni is crap!

    If each lecturer train 2 student a year, you should have 1200 professional. Bang, somemore got 2600 staff listed? bikin malu aje.
