Clamp Off

This is what happens when you either misjudge your corrosion problems, are given bad advice by your supplier of chemicals to mitigate corrosion, or unable to shutdown your critical process lines.

Clamping of Process Line

I worry whether the line has lost so much integrity that there is an possibility of spontaneous rupture. Good thing it’s not a the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico.

sry, but i thought that clamp connectors such as grayloc and techlok are better than ansi flanges in terms of withstanding load and..but this is indeed disturbing, there is no equipments in between and plus, i have never seen so much clamp in one line/spool..enlight me if i’m wrong

Gnoya: The clamps shown in the photo are put on top of areas of pipes which either have leaks due to erosion/corrosion, or where the walls are thin enough such that containment of the pipe contents under pressure is a concern.
