I was browsing through the Reporter online lately, and out of curiosity, I looked up the lecture schedules of NatSci and ChemEng. Lo and behold, the timetable (and in some cases the lecturer) has not changed since I last stepped into the halls in 1995.

Huh… I thought O&G companies laid-off people due to economy downturn.
Some of them now working at fast-food restaurants or become full time Gigolo (makan duit bini). Ah Schuk!!
Pay cut is prominent in service companies especially the 2 big ones (Schlum & Halli).
My friend who works for one of them down under got pay cut and now his salary is lower than a school teacher.
The funny thing is fresh grads here in Malaysia worship these 2 companies like god.

i work out. if i had an engineer, USD40/hr. if he work 160 hours per month, i get USD6400 per person per month.
if i have 10 engineers that’s USD64,000/month.
If I have one prostitute at USD100 per time and at 4 customer a day, i will only get the same number.
why prostitute are better than engineers is because;
1. Engineers get screwed by client repeatedly and only get paid after each month.
2. After screwing, engineers still need to correct your mistake and re do it.
3. After all the screwing, engineers still need to get a HAZOP.
4. The pimp master still needs the engineer to keep all records and sign responsibility for next 10 yrs.
5. Worst, engineers still have to be registered with IEM/BEM to practice.
