The IEM does organise fun events, in addition to more learned occasions.

For the following professions and drama
lawyers – ally mcbeal, shark, the practice etc
police – nypd blues, third watch etc
crimes – CSI etc
doctors – house, etc
and who would want to make a drama about this bunch (look at the secretariat). Every profession are potrayed to be looking professional, drive fast car and fine dining, doing serious work, playing with high tech toys except engineers (to be exact, IEM secretariat).
Ask any standard 2 pupil and he’ll point to a construction supervisor or a car mechanic and say it is an engineer.
