Tales from the Engineering Floor – Aye, Arghh


I was at the Intitution of Engineer‘s AGM yesterday, and was surprised that members of that august body call the ‘Ir.’ title eye-are. You would have thought that they knew better.

I suppose I should be calling doctors De-Are. Or should that be Dear?
