Another week, another scan of the Saturday Star newspaper. Here’s a list of job ads in the paper:
- PETRONAS (all capitals, please) is recruiting. The online ad version of The Star isn’t clear, but I think there’s an Open Day from the 24th-25th Oct, 2008 at the JW Marriot, KL. I wonder why they didn’t do it next door at the Mandarin. Too expensive?
It must still be a slow week, that’s the only engineering job I can find.

Bryan, you’ll have to try other avenues. I don’t do placements commercially, and when I do consider people it’s usually because a personal contact asked me to help them. Try the other companies listed around this site.

I also interested to work at petronas…but so far,i failed…i never giveup n still trying..what i know…just to share my experience…for exec position…all control by petronas HRM at twin tower…the will cal you first once you registered via online..there have structure interview…If you not succes,they will KIV yours for next 6 months…if you failed again…they will cal you again for structure interview after 2 years! This what they told me when I cal them…nevermine…for non – executive…the HR from their own plant at kertih will made the selection…pet have their own trainnind center at batu rakit,just TNB have one at bangi..Like optimal,they have their own hrm…for fresh,it little bit difficult.. except yr cpga is good,ex-utp or you know somebody inside or big guns…maybe sclumberger more simple than petronas…who know?all the best.
I am also interested in Petronas…. Work in a tall towers, and take a swipe at your consultants. everyone loves petronas.
i wonder they need a slave driver, i am good at the art of persuation….. maybe i can get poyry to second process engineers, give them each a shovel and start cari-gali….
