Saturday Star 08-04-26 – Job Opportunities


Another week, another scan of the Saturday Star newspaper. Here’s an incomplete list of job ads in the paper:

  • Scientige is looking for a mess of engineers: structural, foundation, IT, naval, Ops and Maint, Noise and Vibr, Pipeline, E&I, Mech, Process (my favourite!), flow assurance, Mat and Corr, Metal and Weld, Risk.     Jabba is also looking for process engineers, with the following qualities

    Hardworking = Willing to work in dark, damp condition for long hours.
    Perseverence = Strong will to keep alive against all odds
    Diligent = Work OT in the salt mine
    Creative = New ways to extort clients into VO

    Boba fett, is it 20 imperial credits for the rest of your life? or its it for the next 10 yrs?

    its a bit high, considering you can buy an egg for 20 imperial credits.
