Johor caretaker MB: State govt to ensure Muar becomes oil and gas hub

The Johor government wants to make Muar district located in the northern part of the state as an oil and gas (O&G) hub with the involvement of private investors.

Johor caretaker Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad said the development, spanning a 920-hectare area, was set to be a game changer for the district.

There were also plans to turn Muar into Malaysia’s Furniture City, besides addressing the issues of illegal factories as well as raw materials supply for the furniture industry, he said.

Saturday Star 2009-11-21 – Job Opportunities

Is it me, or was there no recruitment section in The Star? There’s nothing on the ebrowse site. Anyone get a hardcopy of the paper? If so, can you mail it to me 🙂 I ‘ll cover the domestic mailing costs. Or steal it from the batch of returned papers outside your local 7-11.

This week’s food recommendation is Aero Caterering Sdn Bhd based in MAS Complex A SAAS Airport (Subang International Airport for us old timers). They supplied the food for my MRSM Muar ’84 batch reunion dinner on Saturday night. I don’t think they have a food outlet, but try them out for some Minang food.
