JOHOR BAHRU — A new extension building at the Johor Department of Chemistry Malaysia (KIMIA Johor), completed earlier this year at a cost of RM22.8 million, is expected to strengthen the nation’s forensic analysis capabilities.
Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Chang Lih Kang said the three-storey facility, built over six years under the 12th Malaysia Plan, houses the Food Quality Laboratory and the Water and Environmental Quality Laboratory, both equipped with modern analytical facilities.
