Indonesia, Malaysia have approved asset transfers to new Eni-PETRONAS JV, says PETRONAS exec

TANGERANG (May 21):  The Indonesian and Malaysian governments have approved the changes of ownership for oil and gas blocks that will be transferred to a new joint venture between PETRONAS and Eni, a PETRONAS executive said on Thursday.

Italy’s Eni and Malaysian state energy company PETRONAS in November signed a deal to form a joint venture company that will manage 19 assets, consisting of 14 assets in Indonesia and five in Malaysia.
