Gas Malaysia signs agreement with Tokyo Gas, VTTI to develop LNG regasification terminal in Kedah

KUALA LUMPUR: Gas Malaysia Bhd has signed a joint development agreement (JDA) with Tokyo Gas Co Ltd and VTTI B.V. for the proposed development of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal in Yan, Kedah.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the collaboration follows the receipt of a Letter to Proceed from the Energy Commission in March for the project, known as RGT Yan.
