PETRONAS confirms gas condensate discovery offshore Indonesia

Petronas reportedly has confirmed a breakthrough discovery offshore Indonesia, and appraisal work is already being progressed following the successful wildcat on its North Ketapang working area (WK) offshore East Java.

The Malaysian operator made a significant gas condensate discovery with its Barokah-1 wildcat, its first hydrocarbon reserves found on the offshore asset, Upstream reported on 8 February.
