Worldwide Holdings Embarks On Malaysia’s Largest Floating Solar Farm In Selangor

Construction has kicked off on the 300MWac Bestari Large-Scale Solar project in Kuala Selangor, set to become Malaysia’s biggest floating solar farm and among the largest in Southeast Asia upon completion.

Developed under the Large-Scale Solar 5 (LSS5) programme, the project will expand Malaysia’s renewable energy capacity and support the national target of achieving 40% renewable energy capacity by 2035, while strengthening Selangor’s green economy through sustainable land use, fresh investments and long-term socio-economic spillovers.
