Petronas Carigali ramps up drilling on home turf

Malaysia’s national upstream company Petronas Carigali is set to imminently spud its latest exploration well offshore Terengganu, Peninsular Malaysia, returning to a South China Sea block that has already delivered a discovery in 2025.

The Lebah Putih-1 (White Bee-1) probe on Block PM 6/12 will be drilled by Velesto Energy’s jack-up Naga 6; with the campaign supported by the anchor handling tug supply vessels MP Kesatria and JM Salam, and the offshore tug supply vessel Pacific Legacy.
