Dateline 2013-07-09:
Up to 60 companies have expressed interest in Newfield Exploration Co’s oil and gas (O&G) assets in Malaysia and China, indicating strong interest for the assets which sources said are priced at around US$1.7bil (RM5.27bil).
However, less than half of the companies that had expressed interest have been issued with the info memo on the deal by Goldman Sachs and in accordance with the wishes of Texas-based Newfield. Stage 1 for bid submission is on July 16.
Bidders are now sorting out their funding arrangements for the planned acquisition while some are also looking to team up with other O&G players for joint-bids.

I guess so boss and I knew that all the permanent staffs received their envelope from the NFX management long time ago…not too sure what is the package that they offered..
