Kumang Project a catalyst to Petra Energy’s onshore venture

Integrated oil and gas (O&G) service provider, Petra Energy Bhd (Petra Energy) is keen on setting its eyes on the O&G onshore field following the completion of the Kumang Cluster onshore tie-in at Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd SC-2 and Bintulu Integrated Facilities (Kumang Project).

Commenting on this new foray was executive director and chief operating officer of Petra Energy, Ahmadi Yusoff, during the handing over ceremony of the Kumang Project.

According to Ahmadi, the group’s achievement in this particular venture was highly significant as it faced challenges such as procurement delays, personnel turnover and contract obligations when it first inherited the project from its previous management.
