A concerned reader on my blog said that Chee Meng has recently been investigated by JAIS for misusing a halal logo.
Since I know the boss, I decided to ask him point blank if it was his shop that was investigated.
Short answer: no.
Those of you familiar with Jln Bukit Bintang know that there are more than 2 chicken rice shops. Chee Meng is here, the shop that was raided is here.
And if you care to walk pass the shops, drop by at the one that still displays the halal logo.
