    Assalamualaikum Mr. Wata,
I am Hubab Asmawi, a senior doing chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University and will be graduating this May. Is there a possibility that you might have or know of an opening in the oil and gas field?

I am currently job surveying and with the economy as it is now, am trying to find as many as I can. I’d really appreciate your reply and cooperation.

Finally, the reason I posted this comment under this topic was because I also attended this conference last year, under SIRIM, of which I had an internship with last May.

Again, thank you for your consideration.

    Wasssalam.

    Hubab Asmawi

Hubab: wa’alaikum salam. As the recession deepens, jobs in all sectors will be hard to come by. I suggest that everyone be open to jobs that aren’t their first choice, but seem stable, and give you a foundation that you can use as experience to get into the job you really want, ex. don’t be an expediter if you want to do dyn sim. I would also suggest that everyone think about choosing a path that gets them to a professional status, not because of the label per se, but because the path is a disciplined method of reaching a technical achievement.

Didn’t you ask a lot of questions at the iCon event?

Do you know the latest WLC (W-Linear Correction)factor added to the PR equation equation to compensate for its inadequacy in intermolecular interactions?
