A THREE-PRONGED approach must be taken to sustain the country’s oil, gas and energy sector.
Oil, Gas and Energy (OGE) and Financial Services in the Perfor-mance Management and Delivery Unit director Dr Mohammed Emir Mavani Abdullah said the sector played a crucial role to the nation’s economy, contributing 20% to the growth domestic product.
However, he said sustainable effort had to be taken as the oil and gas industry had seen a declining trend in its production since 1990’s.
