100 Year – Storm So Soon?

I really think the weather database should be updated. Last week, the rain was so heavy that the drainspouts started to backflow – one floor up.

    hope not from the sewage.

Jabba: I think the clinic and massage centre below us would complain if sewage climbed up one floor. Hey, I just realised, massage center next to clinic, talk about potential symbiosis.

Perhaps Metocean Data too? Or they have better things to do (busy). He! He!

    • Wata says:

hans: If Metocean has incorrect data that leads to a faulty design, can they be sued? Or is this all covered under ‘Acts of God,’ and no fault can be attached? If it is the second, I have fairly recent (last night) compiled set of comprehensive data (readings taken from my house porch) analysed by a 15 year process specialist with custom built tools (me in shorts with an umbrella over my buku 555 notebook), calibrated against various scenarios (d20) and reviewed by a local well-known service provider (abang burger in front of my gate). Cost is USD150,000, bundled together with 9 DVDs of your choice.

    Business Sense:
Hire a consultant. If something goes wrong (data), blame the consultant. But if it perfect, steal the CREDIT. (Ah Shuck!)

    Engineering Sense:
Mr. Stochastic promised to come to my house. My wife asks – what is your confidence level he shows – up. He is unreliable.
